Hydroxyproline
Hydroxyproline is the main component of all collagen fibers. In the body, it stabilizes the collagen structure along with proline. Therefore, it is used in the treatment of diseases characterized by connective tissue damage—such as tendon, cartilage, and ligament injuries. It improves skin elasticity and prevents the formation of wrinkles.

Santa Monica offers hydroxyproline as a 50 ml infusion solution. It is suitable for intravenous injection, diluted with 0.9% sodium chloride solution up to 250 ml.
